State police say slippery roads contributed to a crash that seriously injured a woman in Enfield. Police say 42-year-old Angelina Tambro was on Hammett Road about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday when she lost control of her car and ran off into a ditch. The impact threw the vehicle head-on into a tree. Tambro had to be cut out of the car by emergency crews. She was taken to the hospital in Lincoln, then sent to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. We’re told she has broken bones and other internal injuries.
