A weekend of Birthday festivities didn’t slow one Bangor resident down.Kae Hill celebrated her 100th Birthday at Winterberry Heights on Sunday.Surrounded by her family and friends, they recalled fond memories of UMaine Hockey games and how she volunteered for many organizations in the community.Her children say she lived life to the fullest.”She led a very active lifestyle,” said Kae’s daughter Sally Reed. “She loved people. She was very outgoing,” added daughter Carolyn Rogers.”I think the people part is big. The biggest thing was knowing everybody, what they were doing, their lifestyles. She had a life that wasn’t as hectic as many lives are nowadays,” said Kae’s son Ross Hill.Relatives came from as far as Georgia to celebrate Kae’s big day.
