Mixed martial arts were on tap Thursday night in Lewiston.The Bellator 93 card was held at the Colisee.Bangor’s Marcus Davis’ fight was ruled a no contest.The referee ruled Davis hit his opponent Waachiim Spiritwolf with an inadvertent knee to the groin. After a 5 minute rest period, Spiritwolf could not continue and the bout was ruled a no contest.Other Mainers were on the card including Bangor’s Ryan Sanders. He was taking on the unbeaten Michael Page.The fight was over quickly.The referee called a stop to the bout 10 seconds into the fight after Page dropped Sanders with a right hand.A knockout win as Page improves to 4-and-0, Sanders drops to 4-and-4.Other fights involving Mainers includedJon Lemke of Brewer beat Jesse Erickson of Auburn with a first round TKO.Vince Murdock of California registered a 3rd round TKO victory against John Raio of Brunswick.Mike Mucitelli of New York beat Brent Dillingham of Lewiston with a first round arm bar submission.Dave Vitkay of Georgia beat Rumford’s Jesse Peterson 18 seconds into the first round with a guillotine choke.For full results visit the Bellator MMA website
