A man from Ellsworth accused of being a drug dealer made his first court appearance Thursday. 33-year-old Matthew Wright is charged with aggravated drug trafficking. State drug agents and Ellsworth police arrested him in January. They say Wright had 330 bags of heroin, $2,100 and two handguns at his house on Water Street. Authorities say the heroin had a street value of $11,000. Wright considered entering a plea but didn’t. He’s due back in court next month.
