Updated 2 years ago

The snow didn’t stop the Harlem Globetrotters from their annual show at the Bangor Auditorium…but it almost did! One of the buses carrying the team and staff was in a minor accident in Massachusetts today. But after about a half hour delay, the “Globies” were able to keep going. Everyone was okay, including the driver of other car. Then tonight, it was showtime! The Bangor Auditorium hosting the world famous basketball magicians for the final time. It’s always a fun time for both the fans and the players. “Bull” with a beautiful dunk, roll, and some face time! The first woman to wear the “Globie” uniform since 1993 was on the court tonight. She was putting on a shooting clinic! “TNT” with the old-fashioned four-pointer!There were some new rules added to the game each quarter. In the second, baskets were worth double the points. A dunk by “Moose” was worth four points! So despite the weather and some bus trouble, the fans and Globetrotters still had a great time.
