UPDATE: Third Arrest, One Suspect Pleads Guilty in Augusta Pharmacy Robbery
A third person arrested in connection with an Augusta pharmacy robbery went before a judge Tuesday. 26-year-old Candice Eaton of Augusta appeared in federal court in Bangor. She was arrested by Augusta police and FBI agents Tuesday morning.Eaton’s accused of taking part in a robbery at the CVS pharmacy on Stone Street in january.She was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.Another suspect, 19-year-old Anthony Post of Auburn, pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court. He admitted he’s the one who handed the pharmacy worker a note saying he had a gun and would start shooting if pills were not put in a bag. Post faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.A sentencing date has not been set yet.
