Waterville police say two Colby College students have been charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol and 90 other people – 81 of them Colby students – have been summoned to court on charges of being a minor in possession of alcohol. Police say they responded to home at about 11:45 p.m. Saturday to investigate reports of a loud party. The students who rent the house – 20-year-old Oliver Brown and 21-year-old James Axelrod – were arrested. Brown faces an additional charge because police say he attempted to flee the scene. Chief Joseph Massey tells the Morning Sentinel (http://bit.ly/WjZJak ) most party attendees were cooperative, but five covered themselves with insulation in the attic in an attempt to hide. Colby officials say the students could face disciplinary action.
