Old Town Man Admits to Robbing Convenience Store, Homeowner

A man from Old Town pleaded guilty Thursday to robbing a convenience store in Veazie and a homeowner in Milford. 21-year-old John Taylor also admitted to a burglary charge. Prosecutors say he and another man, Anthony Patricelli, went into the Veazie Mini-Mart in November and used a gun to steal about $900.Two days later, we’re told they broke into a house in Milford and confronted the homeowner with what turned out to be a pellet gun. Taylor pleaded no contest to charges of burglary and theft in Old Town where he was accused of breaking into an elderly woman’s home, stealing jewelry and other items. Taylor’s scheduled to be sentenced later this month.Prosecutors plan to ask for six years in prison. Patricelli is also due back in court this month.
