A competency hearing for a young girl charged with killing an infant has been continued until March 15th. The Fairfield girl was 10 when she was charged in the death of 3-month-old Brooklyn Foss-Greenaway last summer. The baby was staying overnight in the girl’s home and being babysat by her mother. The competency hearing was supposed to take place on February 28th. When the hearing does happen in March it will be closed to the public, at the request of the girl’s attorney.
