Bangor on a budget. It’s a new website designed to connect folks in the area to their community. On Wednesday night, the group launched their new website. It was designed by Links Advantage in Bangor. On it you can find information on where to go for the most cost effective arts, entertainment, and nightlife in Bangor. The group celebrated with a launch party at Coespace downtown. The night’s festivities included an indoor s’mores bar, micro cooking classes by Chef on Demand, a DJ provided by Prime Entertainment services, and an interactive website display.A local artist “pigeon” even created an impressive 4 by 16 feet drawing of Bangor.”I think that what Bangor on a budget is going to do is just get people excited about what’s going on downtown and the surrounding area, greater Bangor area, and show them that there is stuff going on maybe that they don’t know about,” said creator Aspen Maquera. You can also find contests on the website including a raffle for two tickets to see Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley this August, as part of the Bangor waterfront concert series. For more information visit bangoronabudget.com.
