It’s been a project nine months in the making. You might say, baking. Now, the Bangor Federal Credit Union is ready to sell its cookbook.Every cent made from it goes to a pet credit union cause: ending hunger in Maine. It isn’t your typical book of recipes.”The cookbook was chosen, in particular, because we thought it would give our members a chance to participate, and our employees a chance to participate, so everybody was invited to submit their their favorite Maine recipes. We decided to do the Maine theme because we love Maine, and thought it would be a great theme for us,” said Evangline Hussey, the assistant to the CEO.Photos in the book come from Atlantic Photography by Don Powers out of Orono. You can stop by any credit union branch to pick up a copy.
