The Bangor city council is calling for the state legislature to act on that bill that would permanently block the public release of information on concealed weapons permit holders. On Monday, the council unanimously accepted a resolve, written by the city solicitor, to support Representative Corey Wilson’s bill that would permanently keep that information private. There was no discussion or debate on the issue. That bill will go before state lawmakers this spring where the city council’s support will be documented officially.
