UPDATE: Photo of Suspected Waterville Bank Robber Released

Waterville Police have released a surveillance picture of the man who robbed the Key Bank on Kennedy Memorial Drive in Waterville.Waterville Deputy Police Chief Charles Rumsey said the man walked into the bank just before 5 p.m. Thursday and handed the teller a note demanding cash.The man allegedly made an undisclosed threat before fleeing the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.Rumsey said they believe the suspect may have fled in a car that was parked in a parking lot behind some medical buildings at 325 Kennedy Memorial Drive next to the bank.Waterville Police, Maine State Police, and a K9 Unit from the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Department set up a perimeter Thursday night that stretched from Kennedy Memorial Drive north to Lincoln Street in a search for the suspect.
