Five Charged In Drug Overdose Case

Five people have been charged in connection with the drug overdose death of a Farmington woman last fall.The medical examiner’s office says Marilyn Rider, 52, died from a morphine overdose.Her live-in boyfriend, Roy Gordon, found her dead in her apartment.Charges against Gordon include aggravated trafficking which caused the death of another person, and falsifying evidence.Terry Oliver, 53, of Wilton was also arrested on charges of trafficking which caused the death of another.Seth Gordon, 23, of Wilton and Erick Barnes, 27, of Industry, are also charged in the case, as is Scott Kidder, 32, of Wilton.Roy Gordon and Barnes are accused of removing evidence from Rider’s apartment before police arrived.Bail for Roy Gordon and Oliver is $75,000 each, bail is $50,000 each for Seth Gordon and Barnes, and $15,000 for Kidder.
