Medical Examiner Identifies Woman Killed in House Explosion

The medical examiner has identified the victim of Tuesday’s deadly house explosion in Bath. Dale Ann Fussell, 64, lived in the two-unit apartment house. Her body was found Tuesday and was identified Wednesday. According to a spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, additional work will be done to establish the cause of death. State fire investigators have determined the explosion was caused by a leak in a propane line. It happened around 5am Tuesday at a duplex on Bluff Road. People who live in the neighborhood say it sounded like a bomb went off when it happened. Some neighbors were taken to hospitals for minor injuries.
