No act of nature would stop one of Bangor’s longtime traditions on Friday night. The 31st Annual Father Daughter Valentine Dance rocked the Bangor Civic Center. The event was sold out.450 tickets were sold after going on sale January 1st. Organizers from the Parks and Rec. Department say it’s not the easiest event to coordinate, but its well worth the effort.”The value in this is always community, family, and just a chance to come out and have some fun on an evening that you just don’t usually get a chance to,” said Tim Baude of Bangor Parks and Rec. No tickets were sold at the door. All admission was sold out a full week before the event.
