Augusta Woman Accused of Pharmacy Robbery to Remain in Prison Until Trial

A woman from Augusta accused of helping rob a pharmacy there will remain in prison until her trial. 22-year-old Stephanie McCormick appeared in federal court in Bangor Friday and waived her right to a detention hearingMcCormick is charged with aiding and abetting a robbery at the CVS on Stone Street two weeks ago.Police say she wrote part of a note that read “Quickly and calmly put all oxycodone in bag. If not i have a gun and will start shooting.”If convicted, she could go to prison for thirty years and be fined $250,000.19-year-old Anthony Post of Auburn is charged with robbery in connection with the hold up.Police say he’s the one who walked into the pharmacy and demanded the drugs.He’ll remain behind bars until his trial, too.
