A man from Maine and two people from Texas made their first court appearance Tuesday in Bangor, accused of trying to sell at least $380,000 worth of bath salts. 49-year-old Arthur Coy and 31-year-old Elizabeth Fuentes of Houston and 29-year-old Stephen Warren of Hermon were arrested Saturday in Hermon. The Penobscot County District Attorney’s office say police were doing a check at a home on New Boston Road. They say they walked in and found four people processing more than 8 pounds of bath salts. The fourth man, 53-year old Leonard Wells of Hermon, posted $50,000 cash bail and did not appear in court Tuesday. Prosecutors says it appears Coy was moving the drugs into Maine from Texas. His bail is set at $300,000 cash. Fuentes is $50,000 and Warren is $75,000. All three are due back in court next month.
