Police Look for Suspect in CVS Pharmacy Robbery

Augusta Police say the CVS pharmacy on Stone St. in Augusta was robbed at around 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.Pharmacy employees reported that a man walked up to the pharmacy counter and demanded prescription pills.No weapons were shown by the suspect, and he fled on foot from the store.The suspect is described as a white male in his late twenties to early thirties, between 5’5″ and 5’7″, and 150 to 170lbs.The suspect was described as wearing faded blue jeans, dark shoes, a black and white winter knit hat with ear flaps, white gloves, a white scarf, blue neck warmer, glasses, and a blue and white winter jacket.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at 626-2370.
