Some kids in Central Maine found a creative way to spend the day off of school Monday – building with Legos. They took part in Lego Mania in downtown Waterville. It was hosted by the organization known as REM, Revitalizing the Energy in Maine.Kids of all ages were welcome to play. The event is designed to spark the imagination and encourage team building skills.Kevin Taylor of Fairfield says, “I think it’s great because it gets kids out and gets them doing things, gives a chance for kids to meet each other and maybe they’ll work together and build something.”Lego Mania usually takes place on school holidays.
