No charges will be filed against Camden Economic Development Director Brian Hodges, who was accused of impersonating a state official. An investigation started a year ago. He says the case was actually closed in June but he just learned about the results last week. Court documents said in the fall of 2011, Hodges sent e-mails to state officials posing as Deb Neuman, who was then the State’s Deputy Commissioner of Economic Development.Hodges previously held that job.The documents said the e-mails came from an I.P. address linked to Hodges. Hodges tells TV5 he was confident he’d be cleared in the case and he’s looking forward to focusing purely on his job in Camden. He’s been the economic development director there for nearly two years.
