The Maine Warden Service has put search efforts on hold for three men who are presumed dead in Rangeley Lake.Officials say the ice remains frozen over the part of the lake where it’s believed the men accidentally rode their snowmobiles into open water on December 30th, the same night a Yarmouth woman was killed when she rode her snowmobile into the lake. The men have been identified as 40-year-old Kenneth Henderson, of China: his cousin, 43-year-old Glenn Henderson, of Sabattus: and their friend, 41-year-old John Spencer, of Litchfield.if the lake opens up enough, wardens will reportedly consider using sonar and watercraft.
