Admission to the UMaine Museum of Art Remains Free Through 2013 

An art museum that’s free to the public will remain that way through 2013.The University of Maine Museum of Art will extend its free admission policy thanks to a gift from the Penobscot Financial Advisors.Museum director and curator, George Kinghorn said it is donations like the advisors which keep the program up and running. He adds it also exposes the local community to all different styles of art. CEO of the financial advisory firm James Bradley believes the arts play an important role in the community and region.
