Gas Prices Fall in Maine, but Still Don’t Match National

Maine gasoline prices continue to fall, but not as fast as they are nationally. Price-monitoring website said Monday that the average cost of a gallon of gas in Maine dropped by nearly 4 cents in the past week, to $3.48. Nationally, prices dropped by 8 cents a gallon to $3.25. Maine prices are now 12 cents a gallon lower than a month ago, but 14 cents higher than the same day last year.
