Bangor Police say an $8,000 watch that initially appeared to have been stolen from a woman in Orrington is back in the hands of the owner. The woman told police she believed the watch was taken after she had service done at a local dealership. That same day a pawn shop owner reported to police that a man tried to sell a Rolex he said he had found.Police say a number of tips lead them to the man Monday morning at a local jewelry store. They say after several interviews, they’ve determined the watch was misplaced at another business, where an employee found it and then gave it to her husband to sell.Charges are pending.
