Pharmacy Robberies in Maine Have More Than Doubled Since 2011 

The number of pharmacy robberies in the Maine this year have more than doubled since 2011.State Police say the pine tree state is averaging more than one pharmacy robbery a week.A Walgreen’s Robbery in Bangor on Tuesday marked the 54th of its kind this year.In 2011 there were 24 pharmacy robberies around the state. The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency says at least 41 of this year’s 54 robberies have resulted in arrests – including two this past week.
