New Legislature Brings in Four People in Top State Jobs 

The new legislature has approved four people for top state jobs.Democrat Matthew Dunlap of Old Town has been selected as Secretary for State: Democrat Janet Mills of Farmington will become Maine’s new Attorney General.Both previously held those positions before Republicans ousted them in 2010 when that party won a majority.Lawmakers today also elected Neria Douglass as State Treasurer.Douglass was State Auditor for the last eight years then left office because of term limits, and Pola Buckley of Hallowell will take over as State Auditor.
