Augusta Man Appears in Court on Pharmacy Robbery Charge

A man from Augusta charged with robbing a pharmacy made his first court appearance Monday.Police say 33-year-old Jason Truman robbed the Wal-mart pharmacy in Augusta a week ago. He was arrested over the weekend. Monday, a judge ordered him held on $10,000 bail. Police say Truman walked into the pharmacy on Civic Center Drive and walked out with oxycodone.They don’t believe Truman’s responsible for two other recent robberies at CVC stores in Augusta.
