It’s the season of giving, which means there’s lots of gifts to be wrapped. At the Bangor Mall, there’s a group hoping you’ll let them do that job for you.UCP of Maine is offering their low-cost gift wrapping services again this year.Last year, they raised around $12,000 for the organization by helping out busy shoppers at the mall. It’s a huge fundraiser, but also a way to raise awareness about what UCP of Maine does.”Less than 3% of our clients actually live with cerebral palsy. Most of them live with a variety of other disabilities like autism and developmental delays and things like that. We offer a variety of services for all kinds of people that you know and people that I know and we really want to get the word out there, we are so much more than CP,” said Krystle Sisco, Resource Development Assistant at UCP of Maine. The gift wrappers will be set up in the Sears wing of the Bangor Mall until Christmas Eve.
