The Salvation Army Angel Tree Finds a Home at the Bangor Mall 

The Salvation Army is looking to put smiles on kid’s faces for the holidays.The Bangor Mall is hosting the annual Angel Tree for it’s 22nd year, you can find the tree right in front of Macy’s.Angel tree tags list gift requests from families who need a little help around the holidays. Organizers said the need is greater than ever.Program Director of the Salvation Army, Mary MacKay “There are so many families that are out of work or working and struggling. It’s not just people that aren’t working. It’s people who can’t make ends meet and just don’t have the extra for Christmas.”Families still have time to apply for assistance and the Salvation army is also looking for volunteers.
