Winslow High School Students Experience Job Market 

Thursday morning, high school students from Winslow got a sampling of what the job market looks like.As part of the jobs for Maine Graduates Program students toured several central Maine businesses.The trip included stops at Mid-State Machine in Waterville, Central Maine Motors in Waterville, and Joseph’s Fireside Grill.Students watched workers in action and ask questions about their work.”We were hoping that seeing an array of professionals in different areas could open their eyes instead of just hearing it from us at school every day,” said Winslow High School’s College and Career Specialist, Becky Lambert.Winslow High School is planning a similar event later in the year.
