Bangor police are involved in a possible standoff with someone at an apartment complex on Bolling Drive. Police have surrounded the building and closed off the road. They’re also evacuating tenants from nearby buildings. Police say they were called to 49 Bolling Drive just after 2 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a domestic fight where a weapon was threatened to be used. They say a woman called police after getting in a fight with a man, then hearing gun shots. The woman ran out of the building. Police say they have not confirmed a gun was fired and they are trying to determine if the man is still inside the apartment. The Bangor Police Special Response Team is on the scene. They’re sending a robot into the building to get a closer look at the area. Bangor’s school superintendent says as a precaution, students at Downeast School on Moosehead Boulevard are being moved out of the building.Parents can pick up their children from the community center on Davis Road. We have a crew on the scene and will have the latest information on www.wabi.tv and TV5.
