The Penobscot County Grand Jury indicted two men Wednesday accused of robbing a pharmacy in Bangor, one in October and one in September. Authorities say 27-year-old John Harmon of Dover-Foxcroft walked into the Rite Aid at Union and 14th Streets in mid-October, demanded prescription pills, then ran off.He was arrested a short time later near the Bangor Efficiency Apartments on Hammond Street. Harmon is charged with robbery and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs. The man accused of driving the getaway car, 24-year-old Kirk DePhilippo of Bangor, has not yet been indicted.Another man accused of robbing the same Rite Aid pharmacy at the end of September was also indicted. Police say they caught up with 46-year-old Jeffrey Macy because the pharmacist put a GPS tracking device in the bag with the drugs he allegedly stole. Police chased Macy’s car from the pharmacy to Bangor Municipal Golf Course. An officer rammed his cruiser into Macy’s car to stop him.
