Hunter and Landowner Involved In Starks Shooting

Around 3:30pm on Wednesday, the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting at the corner Mt. Hunder and Mayhew roads in Starks.The victim was reportedly air lifted to Central Maine Medical Center and is now listed in serious condition.The Somerset County Deputy Chief Dale Lancaster says there was a hunter and land owner involved.Maine State Police, the Maine Warden’s Office, and the Somerset County Sheriffs Office are now working on the case.
