Election Day is a week from Tuesday, but you don’t have to wait until then to vote. Early voting kicked off Monday morning in Bangor at the Civic Center. Bangor’s City Clerk, Lisa Goodwin, says a lot of people voted Monday because they wanted to get it done before the storm hit. So far, more than 4,000 people in Bangor have voted early, either in person, or by absentee ballot. “It is just like voting on Election Day, except instead of putting your ballots into the machine you put them in an envelope and seal it up and we keep it and process it with the other absentee ballots,” said Goodwin. Early voting ends Thursday night.
