Comic Book Fans Get Creative for Halloween

Comic book fans were in for a little treat on Sunday.Top Shelf Comics in Bangor held their first annual costume contest at their shop.Attendees got to dress up as their favorite comic book heros just in time for Halloween. They said a comic book shop proved to be a great place to celebrate.Top Shelf Comics Owner, Jeff Robinson, said “it sort of ties in with Halloween, gives everyone a chance to show off their costumes. A lot of people are dressing up as super heroes and what not, so we thought it would be fun to bring them all together and have a little contest.”Candice Schoth won the first place prize, a $50 gift card to the comics shop for her best alien costume.
