Old Town Woman Sentenced in Connection with Former MLB Player Home Burglary

An Old Town woman was sentenced Wednesday morning for her involvement in multiple burglaries around the Bangor area, including the home of former Major League Baseball player, Matt Stairs.Andrea Bouchard, 28, pleaded quilty to multiple burglary and receiving stolen property charges.Bouchard was sentenced to four months behind bars. The judge also ordered her to pay $5,000 in restitution.District Attorney Chris Almy says Bouchard’s husband is also facing burglary charges. “This case involves her husband, who’s on probation, and who was, actually was one of the main culprits in these burglaries, and I suspect that, he’s in jail right now, and I suspect he’ll be serving many years in jail for what he’s done with respect to these homes,” said Almy.Andrea Bouchard’s husband, Jamie Bouchard, has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
