Hundreds of Students Visit EMCC for Open House 

It can be hard to figure out life after high school, but students in Bangor had a chance to see what it could be like, Wednesday.Eastern Maine Community College held its annual open house on campus. Interested students checked out the programs offered by the college and then took a tour of the school.EMCC president, Lawrence Barrett, said it’s a good opportunity for both students and staff. “It’s really about a win-win for both the institution and the student to see if they interact well here and it’s a really good fit,” Barrett explained.He told us about 90% of the students who attend their open house end up enrolling at the school.
