Bangor Police Investigating Rite Aid Pharmacy Robbery

Sgt. Paul Edwards of the Bangor Police Department said the pharmacy at the Rite Aid on Union and Fourteenth Streets was robbed around 5:00 p.m. Monday night. Edwards told TV5 prescription pills were taken from the store and they believe three people were involved in the incident.Meanwhile, Bangor police officers arrested three people on Hammond Street, according to a TV5 photographer on scene there. Our crew tells us one woman and two men were taken into custody outside the Bangor Efficiency Apartments. Police have not said whether the arrests are related to the pharmacy robbery.We’ll bring you more information on this story as soon as it becomes available.
