The Bangor community came together for a Rockin’ Cancer Benefit on Sunday. Brandy Clark was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melenoma this past summer, with the community’s help, her family was able to hold a benefit concert in her honor. Local bands donated their time and businesses offered up items for a raffle. Despite difficult, economic times there was overwhelming community support. Organizers and Band Members, Theresa Michaud and Riff Johnson said, “She’s 30 years old, she has two kids, a husband, and she needs all the help she can get.”"It feels good to see that people really want to help her out,” said members of her family. The money raised will go towards medical bills and transportation costs for Clark’s treatment.
