Augusta’s History to be Featured on C-SPAN

The Capital of Maine may not be known for its history, but after this weekend, you could learn a lot more.C-SPAN is highlighting some of the more historic and influential cities in the country and they recently stopped in Augusta. Producers also say they’ll feature the Blaine house, the state house, the state museum and archives.The show airs on Saturday and Sunday, as part of a special Augusta Feature Weekend. You can catch the program at noon on October 6th and at 5pm on October 7th.It will air on both, C-SPAN 2, the Book TV channel or you can watch on their website, BookTV.org
