Athens Car Accident Sends 3 to Hospital 

A rollover in Athens sent three people to the hospital Thursday afternoon.Authorities at the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office said three males were traveling on Joaquin Road in a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer when the driver of the car lost control at a curve, causing the car to roll twice.The driver and one passenger were taken to a nearby hospital, while the second passenger had to be LifeFlighted to Eastern Maine Medical Center for head trauma and a torso wound.Their names have not yet been released.Officials said it appeared speed and driver inexperience played a factor in the accident.
