Harley Davidson Store Honors an Important Member of the Bangor Community
Central Maine Harley Davidson was giving back on Saturday. They held their fall open house event with store discounts and a bike raffle. All the proceeds go to benefit Angel Flight and Camp Capella.They also honored an Angel Flight pilot, who is a retired Bangor police motorcycle cop, and he received a new patrol bike.Retired Bangor Police officer and Angel Flight Pilot, Daniel Herrick, said “In life it’s always Pay it Forward. You do something for other people no matter how small it is. It will come back and reward you and being rewarded this way is totally blowing me away..We really try here at Central Maine Harley Davidson to give back to the community because without their support, we don’t exist.”Angel Flight relies on volunteer pilots to fly sick children to hospitals for treatment and Camp Capella provides recreational fun for children with disabilities.
