Four Charged with Aggravated Assault After Beating Up Two Men in Howland
Police say two men are seriously injured after being beat up Friday night in Howland.Four people were arrested for the crime. They are Charles Gardner, Henry McKinnon, John McKinnon, and Brandon Summerson.Each made their first court appearance in Bangor via video on Monday. All four are charged with aggravated assault.According to the state police website, one of the victims has 80 facial fractures and evidence of being kicked several times in the groin. The other victim has numerous fractures, including a broken eye socket and broken ribs, and all of his teeth have been knocked out. That victim was put in the intensive care unit for an unregulated heart beat.All four men are being held at the Penobscot County Jail on $10,000 bail each.
