One Injured in Three-Vehicle Accident in Orono 

One person was hurt Thursday morning in a three-vehicle accident in Orono.Around 8:15 AM, a driver was turning left off College Avenue onto North Main Street.Stephen Marko of the Orono Police Department said that car wasn’t involved in the accident, but another car on the road didn’t brakes in time, causing a chain reaction.In total, three vehicles and five people were involved.The driver of the third vehicle was injured and taken to a hospital.Marko said, “He was speaking. He was conscious and alert, just experiencing pain.”A portion of the road was closed for about 20 minutes while crews cleaned up the accident.
