UPDATE: Edinburg Man Shot After Reportedly Threatening Police with Knife 

Authorities are investigating an officer involved shooting on Edinburg Rd. in Edinburg.Around 6 p.m., police responded to a call that Warren Dome, 54, was making suicidal and homicidal threats.When they arrived on scene, Dome reportedly threatened offices with a knife, at which time he was shot by Trooper Chris Hashey. Police are not saying how many shots were fired but we are told he was shot in the thigh, and once in the scrotum.Dome was given medical care by State Police, then was Lifeflighted to a local hospital.Trooper Hashey is on administrative leave and the AG’s Office is now in charge of the investigation.No troopers were injured in the altercation.Dome is listed in serious, but stable, condition.
