KahBang Festival Brings Art, Music to Bangor Waterfront for 4th Year
The KahBang festival has taken over the Bangor waterfront and downtown. For the fourth year, festival organizers have put together several days of events, including performances by more than 50 musicians.But this festival is not just about music. It also features film screenings, exhibition art and much more.”We try to showcase up and coming films, up and coming artists as well as the up and coming musicians for sure and you know, we’re trying to make it just your full, everyday festival, but with a Bangor spin on it,” said Chris Rudolph, KahBang’s Director of Community Outreach.Some of the big acts this year include The Deftones, Bassnectar, and Wale. The festival wraps up on August 12.
