Corinna Shrine Dedicated to Ayla Reynolds
Earlier this week, the shrine outside of 20-month-old Alya Reynolds’ home in Waterville disappeared. Now, a man in Corinna has made a shrine of his own for the little girl who was reported missing nearly seven months ago. It’s located at 33 dexter road. The makers of the shrine were upset that people kept taking teddy bears from the old shrine. They wanted a permanent place for people to remember Ayla. While their family has no connection to the Reynolds family, they believe keeping Ayla’s memory alive is important.Chelcee Melia said, “If more shrines like this are put around, maybe more people will be encouraged to step up and help.”Melia and Travis Davis encourage people to drop off items for ayla at the shrine. They say anytime of day is fine.
