A train car derailed in Brownville Junction Tuesday afternoon, but officials said the accident wasn’t related to the train tracks damaged nearby during Saturday night’s storm.Crew members from Eastern Maine Railway on scene said two empty train cars collided, knocking one of them off the tracks.Robert Grindrod, president of The Montreal, Maine and Atlantic Railway, which is responsible for the track, said the incident was minor. “It’s the railroad equivalent of a fender bender. There isn’t anything to be concerned about. There aren’t any hazardous commodities or anything like that,” said Grindrod. He said the company is investigating what happened.
