Painting the Skies Pink for Kristie
The skies will be painted pink next week. Painting the Skies Pink for Kristie is an event being held in memory of a Husson University student who was killed in a car crash last year. Kristie Collins was 22 when she died. Throughout her life she did a lot of fundraising for breast cancer because she had lost her grandmother to the disease. Friends and family will be releasing pink balloons at 7pm on Tuesday, June 26th from Hudson Town Hall. Balloons are $2 each and all proceeds go to the Kristie Dawn Collins Breast Cancer Research Endowment Fund. You can also make donations to the the fund by mailing a check to EMMC Healthcare Charities, PO Box 931, Bangor, ME 04402. Make sure you indicate on the check that it is for the Kristie Dawn Collins Breast Cancer Endowment Fund. Make the check payable to EMMC Healthcare Charities.
